Women’s soccer struggles continue at Cincy

PIKEVILLE -Not much went right for UPIKE on Friday when women’s soccer fell to Cincinnati-Clermont, 8-0.

The Cougars showed skill all over the pitch driving around the Bears defense to put 15 shots on goal to Pikeville’s two.

Keriah Marlock scored a hat trick off the bench in the first half to help take control of the game early. Six of Cincinnati-Clermont’s goals came from reserves with Marlock’s three, Kat Richey’s two and one from Lauren Gilbert. Abbie Flanagan and Taylor Mallucky scored for the Cougars, as well.

Skylar Chapman and Mardorie Flaun earned UPIKE’s two shots on goal in the game.
