Shelby Valley running back Seth Johnson didn’t score the eventual game-winning touchdown in double overtime to beat pesky Pike County Central, the his ability to score in the first extra period and then get the two-point conversion play kept the Wildcats’ hopes alive.
Johnson rushed 25 times for 225 yards and two touchdowns, thus earning him EKB Sports’ Player of the Week honor. Johnson is now just 30 yards shy of 4,000 for his career.
