The University of Pikeville volleyball Bears were swept by national-power Campbellsville, 3-0, in a road match Tuesday.
It was the conference opener for both programs as the Bears dropped to 4-4 overall and 0-1 in Mid-South Conference action.
Noelani Simpson had five kills while Megan Frazier and Trinity Warfield followed with three each.
UPIKE will return to the UPIKE Gymnasium on Thursday night, hosting ninth-ranked Lindsey Wilson College. The match begins at 6 p.m.
