Tug Valley pulls away, beats Hurley

NAUGATUCK – Tug Valley used a balanced rushing attack and solid defense to defeat Hurley (Va.), 30-6, at Bob Brewer Stadium this past Friday night.

Running back Parker Brewer finished with 96 yards and a pair of touchdowns on 17 carries to help the Panthers move to 4-4 overall.

Zack Savage ran six times for 72 yards and a score. Quarterback Tyler Chaffin had a rushing touchdown.

Tug Valley will journey to Man (4-4) Friday night. Kickoff from George A. Queen Memorial Field is 7:30 p.m.
