PAINTSVILLE – Johnson Central running back Joe Jackson rushed for a pair of touchdowns and three other backs scored one each as the Golden Eagles defeated Lexington Henry Clay, 33-21, in a game played at Eagle Field this past Friday night.
Quarterback Ryley Preece rushed for a touchdown while Bryce Tackett and Devin Johnson added one each.
Preece passed for 143 yards, completing 7-of-8 attempts. Ryan Sartin Slone hauled in two for 56 yards.
The Golden Eagles will host South Charleston Friday night.

Breathitt County…22
JACKSON – Floyd Central’s Elijah Cotton scored the winning touchdown in the final minute to lift the Jaguars to a thrilling 28-22 sin over Breathitt County in the Honey Bowl played last Friday night.
Cotton finished with 103 yards and two touchdowns on 11 carries as Central moved to 3-0.
Josh Whitaker added 89 yards and one score on 21 carries while Dalton Boyd had 84 yards and a touchdown on 14 rushes.
Brady Jones and Noah Marcum had 11 tackles each.
Floyd Central will travel to Lynn Camp (2-0) Friday night. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m.

SETH – Sherman’s defense shut down Tug Valley’s offense as the Tide rolled to a 47-0 win at Zontini Field this past Friday night.
Quarterback J.T. Hensley ran for a pair of touchdowns and threw for another in the win. Tommy Harper added two scores.
The Panthers, now 1-1, are idle this week.

ERMINE – Hazard quarterback Bailey Blair threw for three touchdowns and running back Skylar Pelfrey rushed for three others as the Bulldogs cruised to a 43-14 win over Letcher Central at Cougar Field this past Friday night.
Blair tossed TD passes to Mason Collins, Isaiah Stupart and Kyle Johnson. He passed for 139 yards, completing 9-of-15 passes.
Pelfrey rushed 18 times for 110 yards.
The Cougars, now 0-3, will travel to Union, Va. Friday night.

WEST LIBERTY – Morgan County quarterback Garrett Adkins passed for three touchdowns and ran for three others to guide the Cougars to a 44-0 win over Jenkins this past Friday night.
Running back Kaden Ballenger rushed for a score while Adkins tossed TD passes to Cameron Bush, Zach Sexton and Kolby Ferguson.
Jenkins, now 0-3, was shutout for the first time this season. The Cavaliers will play at East Ridge Friday night.

PINEVILLE – Bell County quarterback London Stephney ran for 128 yards and two touchdowns on just two carries and passed for a third as the Bobcats cruised to a 36-0 win over Pike County Central in Pride of the Mountains Bowl played last Friday night.
Running back Colby Frazier added 105 yards and a pair of scores on 10 rushes.
Pike Central, now 0-2, will host Hurley, Va., Friday night. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m.
Ridgeview, Va……49
Shelby Valley……..0
CLINTWOD – Shelby Valley played without Seth Johnson and the Wildcats came up on the short end of a 49-0 decision this past Friday night to the Wolfpack on the road.
Running back Clay Morgan finished with 48 yards and 11 carries and Dalton Meade added 39 on 12 rushes as Valley was held to just 154 yards, all rushing.
Meade led the defense with 13 tackles, including 11 solo.
The Wildcats will host Knott County Central (1-2) Friday night.
