PIKEVILLE – Pikeville and Shelby Valley punched their tickets to the boys 59th District tournament championship game with victories at Davis Park on Monday night.
The host Panthers cruised past East Ridge, 16-0, while the Wildcats knocked off Jenkins, 12-1.
Pikeville and Valley will play at 7 p.m. Wednesday. Both teams will advance onto the 15th Region tournament next week.

Grayson Harris and Kevin Justice combined to toss a no-hitter as the Panthers cruised to the opening night win.
Pikeville, now 17-11, pounded out 12 hits, including three off the bats of Nate Brown and Tanner Hamilton. Brown scored three times and drove in three runs while Hamilton scored a pair of runs.
Jackson Hensley tripled and singled while scoring twice and batting in three runs. Connor Wright and Christian Tackett each singled, scored and added a pair or RBI. Brody Birchfield singled, scored and knocked in one run.
Noah Rose suffered the loss for the Warriors, who finished 3-18.

The Wildcats made the most of only two hits and seven walks to eliminate the Cavaliers.
Mikey Mullins singled and drove in one run as Valley improved to 14-13. Hunter Mullins had the only other hit.
Samuel Brown, Logan Billiter, Ryan Smith and Gabriel Brown all scored a pair of runs.
Valley’s Jeremiah Prater scattered two hits while striking out nine to earn the win. Hayden Fleming suffered the loss for Jenkins, which finished 4-19.
Kersan Bentley singled and scored in the loss and Fleming singled.
