Panthers score late TD, escape Bison

BUFFALO – Tug Valley’s Caleb May hauled in a 30-yard touchdown pass with less than two minutes remaining to lift the Panthers to a come-from-behind 20-15 win over Buffalo at Bison Field last Friday night.

The Panthers, now 3-2, saw a 14-point lead slip away in the second half before scoring the game winner.

Chaffin passed for 120 yards and three touchdowns, including a 30-yard toss to Blake Dingess in the opening period and a 10-yard throw to Easton Davis in the third quarter.

May finished the game with 51 yards rushing on 15 carries and caught three passes for 72.

The Panthers will host Van (4-1) Friday night at Bob Brewer Field, Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m.
