Johnson Central and Pikeville claimed the No. 1 and No. 2 rankings in the final Mountain Top Sports Super 7 football poll released Monday.
The Golden Eagles, 10-0, thrashed Belfry, 53-16, while the Panthers (10-0) cruised past Ridgeview (Va.), 67-28.
Shelby Valley, 8-2, was idle this past week but the Wildcats slipped ahead of Belfry, 6-3, into the No. 3 spot. The Pirates are fourth.
Mingo Central, now 7-2, climbed into the No. 5 position followed by Martin County (7-3) at No. 6 and Paintsville (7-3) is seventh.
Man, now 7-2, and Pike County Central (7-3) both received votes.
