LOGAN – The Logan Middle School basketball team opened its season with three wins this past week.
In game one, Logan defeated Belfry, 59-24. Scott Browning poured in 16 points and Parker Davis added nine.
Logan then turned back Paintsville, 53-46. Browning had 15 points to lead the way while Garrett Williamson tossed in 11 points, grabbed five rebounds and dished out six assists.
Caden Dotson chipped in eight and Davis added seven points and seven rebounds. Reece Carden tallied seven and Aiden Slack chipped in five points and pulled down seven boards.
Logan capped the week with a 50-43 win over Shady Spring.
Slack fired in 19 points, grabbed seven rebounds and added six assists while Williamson followed with 17 points.
Browning had six points, Davis chipped in five and pulled down five rebounds while Carden netted three.
Logan will battle Hurricane Wednesday.
