Meet UPIKE head coach and athletic director Kelly Wells

He is 259-97 at UPIKE, including a NAIA national championship in 2011.

UPIKE has had 10, 20-win season in the last 11 under him. In 2010-11 his team won 30 games and then 31 in 2013-14.

He has coached 21 NAIA All-Americans, including two NAIA Players of the Year in Bruce Reed in 2014 and Kenny Manigault in 2015. That makes 21 of the program’s 26 total All-Americans having played under Wells. There have also been 29 All Mid-South Conference selections to play for wells, including two conference players of the year and one freshman of the year.
Wells resides in Pikeville with his wife, Shawne, and their children, Kaylee and Mason.
