Meet UPIKE head coach Al Holland Jr.

Beginning his ninth season at UPIKE

Fifth as head coach (making him the longest tenured head coach in the 18-year history of the football program)

Named Mid-South Conference Coach of the Year in 2016.

His team finished 5-1 in the MSC East Division in during his third year, giving UPIKE a share of its first-ever conference championship.

Attended and played at Eastern Kentucky University (2007-08) and Wake Forest University (2004-06).  Earned Ohio Valley Conference Player of the Year honors at EKU in 2007.

Holds a master’s degree in Sports Administration.

He resides in Pikeville with his wife, Ashley and daughter, Ali Noel.
