Meet UPIKE dance coach Hanna Case

Hanna Case is the head coach of the University of Pikeville dance team following three years as an assistant with the program.

Case is a native of Phelps and has been dancing since she was 10-years old. Throughout her high school years, she captured national titles and many state titles before choosing to attend then-Pikeville College. Case danced at UPIKE for four years, capping off her career as part of the first dance team in school history to compete at the National Dance Association National Championships where they finished fourth.

After graduating from UPIKE, Case assisted with the UPIKE dance team for three years while also being the head coach of the Pikeville Junior High dance team for two years. Pikeville won county titles and two second-place trophies at the State Competition under Case’s guidance.

Case resides in Floyd County with her husband Brennan and her daughters Brynlee and McKinley.
