What is your coaching philosophy? “I coach because of my passion for the game. It is very special to have the opportunity to give back to a school/community that means a great deal to me. When it comes to our program, all our coaches stress the importance of team unity, self-confidence, and accountability. Those three traits will be huge parts of each student-athletes future. Discipline and responsibility are much easier to handle once the other three qualities are instilled. My teams will always show class and a strong desire to compete. We demand that they bring an extreme effort and attention to detail during practices/workouts to reach full potential. We are hopeful that with repetition, they can take these values and use them for the rest of their lives. Each player/coach is held to the highest standard.”

What’s your favorite food? “Pizza.”

Country or rock? “I like all kinds of difference genres of music.”

Favorite artist? “Tyler Childers.”

Hero? I have a lot of hero’s in my life. I’ve been fortunate enough to have a lot of great role models that have shaped me into who I am. My heroes are: My Parents: so thankful for the sacrifices they made throughout my childhood. My Wife: She is way tougher than I am. The foundation of our family. Coach Bill Mike Runyon: Coach Runyon took me under his wing as a player and a coach. He’s taught me many things about the game. I have always been fascinated by his outstanding career and ability to motivate people.”
