Pikeville’s Cassidy Lowe grew over the years as a player for the Lady Panthers.
Her senior leadership this past season helped guide Pikeville to the All “A” Classic and berth in the girls’ state softball tournament.
Lowe’s dedication and commitment has landed her as EKB Sports’ Player of the Year.
She was a key element in Pikeville’s 31-11 finish, best among schools in the 15th Region.
Chapmanville senior Kara Little was named captain of the second team. She helped CHS reach the Class AA championship game this past year.
Pikeville’s Dave Thomas was chosen as Coach of the Year. Thomas announced this past season would be his last in the Panther dugout.
