Lawrence County dominates in win over Central

LANGLEY – Lawrence County running back Baden Gillispie rushed for 195 yards and a touchdown to help power the Bulldogs to a 40-0 district win over Floyd Central this past Friday night at Jaguars Stadium.

Quarterback Noah West added 102 yards and three, second-half touchdowns at the Bulldogs closed out the regular season 6-4.

Josh Whitaker finished with 69 yards on 20 carries to lead Floyd Central, now 5-4.

Lawrence County will return to action in two weeks in Class 3A post-season play while the Jaguars close out the regular season Friday night at home against Letcher County Central (4-5).

Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m.
