Lawrence County’s Trenton Adkins allowed just a single goal as the Bulldogs defeated Johnson Central, 5-1, in high school soccer action played at Louisa on Wednesday night.
Luke Johnson and Tyler Maynard scored a pair of goals each and assisted on another as Lawrence County improved to 2-0-0. The Golden Eagles dropped to 1-1-0.
S.J. Lycans added one goal.

Allyson Stumbo had six kills and eight digs in the 25-14, 25-13 and 25-23 win. Kiara Warrens totaled 12 digs and Caley Howard finished with six kills. Amelia Wallace collected 24 assists.
