BLACKLOG – Lawrence County quarterback Noah West rushed for 137 yards and two touchdowns on 16 carries to lead the Dawgs to a 34-8 win over Sheldon Clark in a game played at The Rock this past Friday night.
Running backs Ashton Blankenship and Baden Gillespie each added a rushing score. Blankenship totaled 77 yards on 17 carries and Gillespie finished with 42 on seven.
The Bulldogs, now 4-3, will host Pike County Central (2-4) and Sheldon Clark (2-5) journeys to Floyd Central (4-3) Friday night. Both games will kick off at 7:30 p.m.

PHELPS – Phelps running back Dominick Francis rushed for 100 yards and a pair of touchdowns and Brandon Turnmire added 104 yards and one score as the Hornets rolled past Fairview, 52-0, at Marty Casey Stadium this past Friday night.
Francis also picked off a pass and returned it for another score.
Zack Ramey carried 13 times for 73 yards and a touchdown as Phelps finished with 343 yards total, including 279 rushing. Ramey also intercepted a pass and recovered a fumble.
Quarterback Garrett Clevenger passed for a touchdown and ran for another. Seth Mayhorn hauled in the 33-yard TD pass.
Joey Scott and Tyrell Hollis each recovered a fumble.
Phelps, now 4-1, held Fairview to just 72 total yards, including 12 rushing.
The Hornets will host Hazard (3-2) Thursday night in a key district matchup. Kickoff is set for 7: p.m.
Other games from Friday saw Paintsville go on the road and beat Walton-Verona, 27-15.
The Tigers, now 5-2, will host Fairview (0-6) at Memorial Field Thursday night. Kickoff is 7:30 p.m.
Also, Morgan County defeated Magoffin County, 34-24. The Hornets, now 2-5, will play at Knott County Central (1-5) Thursday night. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m.
