WEST LIBERTY – Shelby Valley running back Seth Johnson was a one-man wrecking ball as the Wildcat rushed for 380 yards and four touchdowns on 14 carries to fuel a 61-21 rout of Morgan County this past Friday night.
Running back Dalton Meade finished with 101 yards on 11 rushes and one touchdown and Ethan Bentley totaled 64 yards and one touchdown on only two carries.
Quarterback Sam Stanley’s only two completions went for touchdowns as Dalton Meade hauled in a 48-yard reception and Cameron Worrix added a 10-yard touchdown catch.
Logan Billiter had 16 tackles, including 11 solo, as Shelby Valley improved to 4-1. Meade followed with 13 and Brayden Keathley totaled 12. He had one sack and recovered a fumble.
Shelby Valley will play at Betsy Layne (0-4) Friday night. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m.

PAINTSVILLE – Johnson Central rushed for 451 yards and finished with nearly 500 yards total as the Golden Eagles took apart Moore, 49-21, in a game played this past Friday night at Eagle Field.
Running back Devin Johnson finished with 103 yards on nine carries and three touchdowns as the Golden Eagles moved to 3-1 this season.
Joe Jackson carried 17 times for 146 yards while Dillon Preston added 91 yards and only two rushes. Quarterback Ryley Preece finished with 80 yards on five rushes and two scored. He also passed for another touchdown.
Johnson Central will travel to Cannonsburg Friday night to face Boyd County (2-2). Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m.

ERMINE – Coach Junior Matthews’ first win at Letcher Central was a dominating one against Pike Central as the Cougars rolled to a 50-0 win at Cougar Field this past Friday night.
Letcher Central had lost 19 straight games before exploding in the rout of the Hawks.
Running back Jonathan Sergent rushed for three touchdowns while Hunter Campbell, Sam Little, Zachary Hall and Kane Gibson added one each.
Campbell led the ground game with 72 yards on six carries while Little totaled 68 yards on nine rushes.
The Cougars, now 1-4, will play at Perry Central (4-0) while the Hawks (1-3) return home to battle Floyd Central (4-1) on Friday night. Kickoff for both games is set for 7:30 p.m.

CORBIN – Lynn Camp running back Dalton Cook ran for 152 yards and three touchdowns to power the Wildcats to a 60-0 win over Jenkins this past Friday night.
Dalton Bunch returned a fumble for a score and Nick Smith had a pick six as Lynn Camp improved to 4-0.
Jenkins, now 0-5, will host Harlan (2-3) Friday night at Tommy Brush Field. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m.

LICK CREEK – Sheldon Clark scored its second win of the season this past Friday night with a 36-0 win over East Ridge in a game played at The Reservation.
East Ridge, now 1-3, will travel to Leslie County (0-5) while the Cardinals host Belfry (3-1) Friday night. Both games are set for 7:30 p.m.
