Pikeville took a close first set and went on to sweep Pike County Central, 3-0, in a match played at T.W. Oliver Memorial Gymnasium on Monday night.
Kaylee Wells finished with 14 kills and McKinlee Potter added 12 in the 25-21, 25-16 and 25-22 win. Riley Tavis totaled 30 assists.
Emily Gearheart added 17 digs and Chloe Wright had four “big-time” blocks as the Lady Panthers moved to 18-5 overall and 15-0 in regional matches.

Defending 15th Region champion Paintsville dominated from the outset and went on to beat Prestonsburg, 3-0, in a match played at Prestonsburg Fieldhouse on Monday night.
Hailey Little had 10 kills, five digs and three serving aces in the 25-7, 25-12 and 25-11 match win. Bella Blackburn followed with 21 assists, six digs and four aces while Kara Ward added eight kills and Kaitlyn Newsome had six.
The Lady Tigers are now 12-7. Prestonsburg dropped to 1-13.
