Martin County took charge early on and the Lady Cardinals cruised to a 3-0 victory over Lawrence County in a match played Thursday night.
Madison Thompson finished with eight kills and Lakyn Porter followed with seven in the 25-12, 25-16 and 25-19 win.
Jenna Grayson totaled 10 digs while Kira Osborn added five kills, nine digs and three serving aces. Kristen Isaac led with seven serving aces. Allicen Grayson followed with eight digs. Lila Spaulding collected 12 assists.

Letcher County Central won its third straight match as the Lady Cougars blanked June Buchanan, 3-0, in a match played at LCCHS Gymnasium on Thursday night.
Summer Madden had 11 kills and six digs in the 25-12, 25-20 and 25-8 match win. Rheagan Holbrook added a10 kills, 12 digs and one ace. Madison Mason had 15 digs, Emmalee Bankis and Jerricka Williams followed with 10 each. Banks totaled seven serving aces.

Paintsville snapped a one-set tie and went on to beat Pike County Central, 3-1, in a match played on Thursday night.
Kara Ward had 15 kills to lead in the in the 25-23, 16-25, 25-23 and 25-12 win. Hadley Hardin followed with 12.
Hailey Little finished with 11 kills and two blocks while Kaitlyn Newsome had six aces. Bella Blackburn totaled 36 assists and Alissa Mullins had 16 digs.
