Betsy Layne snapped a one set tie with Prestonsburg and went on to score a 2-1 win in the 15th Region All “A” Classic played at the McCoy Athletic Center on Tuesday night.
Madison Hamilton finished with six kills and six blocks in the 25-16, 22-25 and 25-15 win. Lauryn Watkins added 12 digs.
It was the third straight win for the Lady Bobcats and fourth in five matches.

Letcher Central took control early on against Jenkins and cruised to a 3-0 victory in a match played on the road Tuesday night.
Madison Mason had three digs and four serving aces in the 25-8, 25-4 and 25-8 win. Rheagan Holbrook finished with three kills and five digs while Emmalee Banks collected two digs and three aces.
The Lady Cougars improved to 5-2.
