Pikeville High School’s Lady Panthers narrowly beat out Floyd Central for the top spot in the final Mountain Top Sports Super 7 volleyball poll for the regular season.
Pikeville takes a 26-7 overall record into Wednesday night’s regular season match-up with Martin County.
Floyd Central, which finished the regular season 25-7, is followed by Paintsville, now 24-8, at No. 3. The Lady Tigers battle Belfry on Thursday night to close out the regular season.
The Lady Cardinals, 20-9, are fourth, followed by East Ridge (19-7) at No. 5.
Rounding out the poll are No. 6 Pike County Central (18-8) and No. 7 Letcher Central (11-9).
