Johnson Central’s Jake Headly scored four goals and assisted on another, but the Golden Eagles fell short to visiting Mountain Mission School (Va.), 6-5, in a match played at Eagle Field on Wednesday night.
Nathaniel Narendrakumar added one goal and Braden Kennard assisted on two as Johnson Central dropped to 1-4-1.

Prestonsburg standout Anna Burchett knocked home five goals and assisted on two others to power the Lady Blackats to a 12-0 victory over Pikeville in the 15th Region All “A” Classic semifinals played at The Rock on Wednesday night.
Elizabeth Burchett added four goals as Prestonsburg improved to 8-1-0 and advanced to face Martin County in the championship match on Saturday.
Makayla Ousley had one goal and assisted on three others while Kadynce Hackworth and Annabelle Trusty finished with one goal apiece.
Goalkeepers Chelsea Samons and Chelsea Reynolds combined on the shutout win.

Martin County’s Paige Maynard finished with a hat trick, scoring three goals and assisting on three to lead the Lady Cardinals to a 10-0 win over Shelby Valley in the 15th Region All “A” Classic semifinals played at The Rock on Wednesday night.
Kaitlyn Guaze followed with two goals and three assists while Julia Pinson had two goals and two assists as Martin County moved to 3-5-0.
Alysan Robinson scored one goal and assisted on another while Brittany Thompson and Emily McMillan each scored.
Marlie Fletcher had two saves in the shutout win.
