HAZARD – Letcher Central rallied from a deficit to stun Perry Central, 49-35, in a game played this past Friday night.
Running back Hunter Campbell rushed for 136 yards and four touchdowns on 23 carries to lead the Cougar attack. Jonathan Sergent added 78 yards and two scores on 17 carries. Quarterback Nick Sergent passed for one touchdown, 52 yards to Kalin Branham.
The Cougars, now 2-4, will host Harlan County (1-4) Friday night at Cougar Field. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m.

HAZARD – Hazard quarterback Bailey Blair threw for 162 yards and a pair of touchdowns and running back Skylar Pelfrey rushed for 111 yards and two scores as the Bulldogs cruised past Prestonsburg, 44-12, this past Friday night at Daniel Field.
Running back Trajon Campbell added a touchdown run while Andy Baker and Kyle Johnson each had a TD reception.
Prestonsburg quarterback Brayden Slone rushed eight times for 94 yards and scored a pair of touchdowns. Ethan Varney added 59 yards on 13 carries in the loss.
Both teams return to action Friday night as the Bulldogs, now 3-1, will visit Pikeville (3-2) while the Blackcats (0-5) journey to Leslie County (1-5). Kickoff for both games is set for 7:30 p.m.

HYDEN – Leslie County quarterback Zack Parker passed for 174 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Eagles to a 47-6 win over East Ridge this past Friday night.
Running back Taten Smith carried five times for 148 and three touchdowns in the win.
East Ridge, now 1-4, will host Betsy Layne (0-6) Friday night on the Reservation. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m.

WINFIELD – Winfield running back John Covert rushed for 286 yards and four touchdowns to lead the Generals to a 64-32 win over Logan this past Friday night.
