Homecoming was a special week in more ways than one for the Logan Wildcats.
Quarterback Jordan Hayes threw for four touchdown passes and Logan’s defense shut down Scott as the Wildcats cruised to a 35-0 victory at Wills-Nisbet Stadium on Friday night.
The Wildcats had dropped their first six games this season prior to Friday’s win. The Skyhawks fell to 1-5.
Hayes tossed TD passes for 13 27 and 47 yards to receiver Aiden Slack. He also hit Cameron Hensley with a TD reception.
Logan running back Dawson Maynard scored on a four-yard run late in the game to cap the scoring.
The Wildcats will be idle this coming Friday before returning home to face rival Chapmanville (3-3) at home on Oct. 25. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m.
