HS FOOTBALL: Wildcats close out regular season with big home win

Shelby Valley won its fourth straight game on Friday night as the Wildcats breezed past Bath County, 56-14, at Teco Field.

Quarterback Dalton Meade finished with 202 yards and three rushing touchdowns on 13 carries as Valley improved to 8-2. Running back  Jayden Newsome followed with 117 yards and one score on just six rushes.

Jordan Little, Ethan Bentley and Mikey Mullins all added one rushing touchdown each.

Lance Riddle picked off a pass and returned it 52 yards for a touchdown. Mullins and Little also had picks.

Shelby Valley ran for 405 yards total while holding Bath County to minus five yards.
