Paintsville quarterback Jake Hyden returned to the starting lineup and completed eight of 10 passes for 248 yards and four touchdowns, all in the opening half, as the Tigers dismantled Fairview, 56-0, on Friday night.
Hyden tossed TD passes of 2, 36, 19 and 95 yards while his backup and starter the past two weeks, A.J. James passed for 104 yards and a 92-yard touchdown.
Karsten Poe had a pair of touchdown receptions of 19 and 95 yards and finished with 147 yards on three catches.
Running back John Walker Phelps returned a punt for a score and Devin Hall had a 36-yard TD reception and returned an interception 21 yards for a touchdown.
The Tigers, now 5-2, will return to Memorial Field to host Betsy Layne (2-5) on Oct. 18. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m.
