The Pikeville Panthers, now 6-0 following last Friday night’s road win over Lawrence County, is the top-ranked school statewide in the first KHSAA RPI rankings released Monday.
Only regular season games are included in the calculations.
The Panthers with an RPI of 0.890, leads No. 2 Kentucky Country Day (6-0) at 0.886.
Lexington Christian (5-1) is third, followed by Male (5-0) and Franklin County (6-0).
Rounding out the top 10 are Paducah Tilghman (5-1) at number six, followed by Paintsville (3-2), 0.753, Mayfield (5-1), Mercer County (5-1) and Somerset (5-0).
