Johnson Central went on the road to Perry Central and dominated the Commodores in all phases of the game in rolling to a 49-6 victory on Friday night.
Running back Devin Johnson rushed for 93 yards on just two carries, both for touchdowns, as the Golden Eagles improved to 7-0. Quarterback Ryley Preece completed his only three pass attempts for 68 yards and two scores.
Johnson hauled in one touchdown pass and Seth Dalton caught a 45-yard touchdown.
The defense came up big as well. Hunter McCloud and Cody Rice returned interceptions for touchdowns and McCloud also returned a fumble for another.
The Golden Eagles will host Harlan County (6-1) on Oct. 18. Kickoff from Eagle Field is set for 7:30 p.m.
