Johnson Central continued its dominance on the gridiron as the Golden Eagles rolled to a 44-0 victory over Clay County at Eagle Field in a game moved to Thursday night.
Running back Devin Johnson rushed five times for 119 yards and two touchdowns as the Golden Eagles improved to 6-0.
Quarterback Ryley Preece completed his only four pass attempts for 135 yards, including a 66-yard touchdown pass to Seth Dalton.
Running backs Bryce Tackett, Cody Rice and Toby Springs added rushing touchdowns.
Hunter McCloud led the defense with 12 tackles while Mason Lemaster and Andrew Burchett had 10 each. Keygan Pelfrey had a fumble recovery.
The Golden Eagles will close out their home schedule against Harlan County (4-1) on Oct. 18. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m.
