Floyd Central will enter the post-season as the fourth seed following the Jaguars 48-18 loss at the Dawg House on Friday night.
Lawrence County’s Brandon Fitch rushed for 147 yards on six carries and Blue Fletcher added 68 yards on seven rushes to help the Bulldogs move to 4-5.
Quarterback Baden Gillispie ran for a touchdown and passed for a pair of scores, both to Danny Hall.
Gavin Martin, Jordan Akers and Noah Marcum each rushed for a touchdown as the Jaguars dropped to 3-6. Dalton Boyd led the ground game with 89 yards on 16 rushes.
Floyd Central will visit Letcher Central (3-6) and Lawrence County goes to Raceland (5-4) on Nov. 1. Kickoff for both games is set for 7:30 p.m.
