BROOKSVILLE, Fla. – Wesley Christian ran its way to the Nature Coast Invitational Christmas Tournament championship with an 88-77 win over Cincinnati Hughes Dec. 29.
The Circuit Riders, now 15-7, placed six players in double-figure scoring, led by Puoch Puoch’s team-high 19 points. Arol Kachuol, C.J. Allison and Oussema Marnaoui followed with 14 each while Madit Lueeth and Miki Tadic tossed in 11 apiece.
Wesley Christian reached the championship game by knocking off previously unbeaten Wharton (Fla.) High School in the semifinals.

The Circuit Riders, 14-7, made good on only one-of-nine free throws while the Wildcats (9-1) converted on all 10 chances.
Puoch Puoch and Oussema Marnaoui led the scoring with 14 points apiece. Miki Tadic and Arol Kachuol added 10 apiece.
