BROOKSVILLE, Fla. – Wesley Christian placed four players in double-figure scoring as the Circuit Riders opened play in the Nature Coast Invitational Tournament with a 95-54 win over Sunlake (Fla.) Dec. 27.
The Circuit Riders (13-7) will face Wharton (Fla.) High School in the tournament semifinals at 8 p.m. tonight.
Pouch led the way with a game-high 21 points and Miki Tadic followed with 17. Erwin Gutic tossed in 14 and C.J. Allison added 12.

OWINGSVILLE – Johnson Central’s “big four” came up big offensively as the Golden Eagles raced past Russell, 81-61, in the opening round of the Dan Swartz Classic played at Bath County High School Dec. 27.
Cory VanHoose led a balanced attack with 20 points while Isaiah May followed with 19 as the Golden Eagles improved to 8-1. Gabe Ferrell fired in 14 and Jacob Rice tallied 12.
