HS BASKETBALL: Pikeville roughs up Paintsville

PAINTSVILLE – Pikeville took charge in the opening half against Paintsville and cruised to a 73-36 victory in a game played on the road Jan. 31.

Kirsten Cole-Williamson led a balanced scoring attack with a game-high 18 points as the Lady Panthers improved to 16-6. Kelsey Jo Tackett finished with 15 while Grace Bartley tossed in 12. Leslie Stewart and Emma Ratliff chipped in eight apiece.

Anna Keeton scored 13 to pace the Lady Tigers, now 17-8. Elizabeth “Swoop” Williams netted 12.
