CORBIN – Lynn Camp ran out to a big first-period lead against Betsy Layne and went on to score an 82-66 win in a game played Feb. 9.

Jordan Frazer finished with 13 points and Brady Robinson added 10 as the Bobcats dropped to 12-14. Davy Bentley chipped in seven.

Sammons finished with a game-high 23 points and Roberts tossed in 20 as the Panthers moved to 16-8. Christian Billiter added 13 points.

Trey James paced the Cardinals, now 9-18, with 18 points while Jordan Dalton followed with 15 and Cameron Dials added 14.

Kyle Price scored 27 for the Knights (0-24) to share game-high honors. Seth Hall finished with 22. Price finished with a double-double, grabbing 16 rebounds.

PARIS – Lawrence County had to work overtime for the second straight game as the Bulldogs slipped past Paris, 57-55, in a game played Feb. 9.

Tyler Maynard fired in a game-high 26 points and Cody Maynard finished with 12 as the Bulldogs improved to 20-7. Noah Fairchild chipped in nine points.

SALYERSVILLE – East Ridge fell behind early on to Magoffin County and the Hornets went on to beat the Warriors, 69-50, in a game played Feb. 9.

Cameron Hess scored nine points to lead the Warriors, who slipped to 10-15. Elijah Sykes and Zack Mason tossed in eight points apiece in the loss.

JENKINSShelby Valley ran out to a big lead early on and the Wildcats cruised to a 70-20 victory over Jenkins.

Kaden Robinson came off the bench to lead the Wildcats, now 25-4, with 11 points. Orbie McPeek tossed in 10 while Cody Potter and Cameron Worrix added eight each.

Devin Collins and Andrew Shull paced the Tigers with 15 points each while Philip Mullins and Obinna-Anochili-Killen added nine each.

Cory VanHoose finished with a game-high 40 points, including 19-of-20 shooting for the game, as the Golden Eagles fell to 19-6. Isaiah May followed with 15 and John King tallied 12.
