GOODY – Belfry pushed across six runs in the bottom of the second inning to pull away and beat Mingo Central, 9-2, in a game moved from Williamson to Belfry because of field conditions on March 25.
The big blow in the inning was an inside-the-park home run off the bat of winning pitcher Kaleb Taylor with the bases loaded.
Sean Cochran singled home two runs while Logan Windle and Brett Coleman each had an RBI base hit.
Levi Davis took the loss for the Miners.

Hunter McCloud doubled home a pair of runs in the first inning and score to give JC an early 3-0 lead. Chase Meade added two singles and batted in one. Ryley Preece collected three hits, including a double.
Winning pitcher Ryan Sartin pounded out three hits and score. Blake Delong singled and scored.
