The Belfry Pirates are looking to replace their current field turf which has been in place since CAM Stadium’s opening in 2005.
Boosters and coaches announced a fundraiser which will allow individuals the opportunity to invest in the replacement process.
Coach Philip Haywood said the new turf would be installed in time for the 2019 season. The price tag will run approximately $400,000.
Those who wish to invest will receive a piece of the current turf, a certificate of authenticity and ownership of the old and replacement turf.
