East Ridge went on the road Tuesday night and scored a 3-0 win over Belfry in girls’ high school volleyball action.
Haylee Meade had 13 digs and 29 assists in the 25-18, 25-13 and 25-18 win. Hannah King had 12 kills and 13 digs while Kelsi Slone added five serving aces and 17 digs. Sarah Tackett finished with 12 kills and Lexi Little totaled 10 digs.
Floyd Central continued its dominance with a 3-0 win over Prestonsburg in a match played at Langley.
Allison Turner totaled seven kills, eight serving aces and seven digs in the 25-11, 25-15 and 25-7 win. Amelia Wallace had nine aces and 13 assists while Alexis Daniels finished with eight kills. Kiara Warrens collected six digs.
Phelps took a doubleheader from Piarist School, winning both matches, 2-0, at the McCoy Athletic Complex.
Morgan Francis had 10 kills and LaRanda Francis added five in the 25-8, 25-16 and 25-11, 25-9 match wins. Alyssa Wolford finished with six serving aces while Kara Stevens had 13 set assists.
Paintsville’s Hadley Hardin had 10 serving aces to lead the Lady Tigers to a 3-0 win over Magoffin County.
Megan Taylor added 26 kills in the 25-2, 25-11 and 25-10 match win.
