Defending champs cruise past Floyd Central

DANVILLE – Floyd Central’s season ended at Boyle County as the defending champs built a 36-point, halftime lead and went on to beat the Jaguars, 49-0, this past Friday night.

Receiver Reiley Colwick hauled in a 49-yard touchdown pass and then returned a punt 45 yards to the house to get the Rebels, now 11-0, off and running.

Quarterback Reed Lanter completed all five of his passes for 130 yards and three touchdowns.

The Jaguars season ended at 5-6.
