Cougars fall in road game at Union, Va.

BIG STONE GAP, Va. – The Union Bears erupted for 21 points in the second period and pulled away to beat Letcher County Central, 34-7, in a game played this past Friday night.

The Cougars, now 0-4, scored their only points in the final period on a one-yard touchdown run by Hunter Brashear.

Five different players scored for Union, now 3-0, and quarterback Bailey Turner threw for a pair of scores.

Letcher Central will host Pike County Central Friday night.
