NEWTOWN – Chapmanville completed a three-game sweep of county-rival Logan as the Lady Tigers scored a 52-40 victory in the Class AA, Region IV, Section II title game played at Mingo Central High School Feb. 22.
The Lady Tigers moved to 18-5 overall and will now host Sissonville in the Region IV co-final set for Wednesday. Logan, now 15-9, will travel to Wayne the same evening.
Chapmanville has now won 15 of their last 16 games.
