CHAPMANVILLE – Chapmanville Regional running back Nick Collier carried 34 times for 177 yards and a pair of touchdowns to lead the Tigers to a 26-8 win over Logan at Tiger Stadium this past Friday night.
Collier went over 1,000 yards for the season as the Tigers improved to 5-3 overall.
Running back Josh Bumgarner added a short TD run and quarterback Chase Berry hit Dillon Renninger on a 40-yard pass play to push the Tigers up 19-0 at the break.
Logan’s only points came on quarterback Chucky Felder’s one-yard run in the third period.
Both teams are back in action Friday night as the Wildcats, now 3-5, host Wayne (6-2) in a 7:30 p.m. kickoff, while the Tigers visit Mingo Central (6-2). Kickoff at The Buck is 7 p.m.
