CHAPMANVILLE – Chapmanville Regional’s defense shut down the Cardinal Conference’s leading rusher as the Tigers blanked Nitro, 28-0, this past Friday night at Tiger Stadium.
Running back Nick Collier rushed for 126 yards, his third straight of 100 yards or more, and quarterback Chase Berry passed for 108 yards as the Tigers improved to 2-2. He rushed for an 18-yard score and passed 30 yards for a second.
The Tigers will play at nearby rival Scott (1-2) Friday night.
