University of Pikeville women’s basketball Bears dropped a 58-53 decision to Bethel University in the final game of the MSC/SSAC Challenge played at Martin Methodist University this past weekend.
Kayla Mullins tossed in 12 points and Sierra Feltner and Mia Greatrex followed with 11 each as the Bears fell to 5-2.
On Friday night, UPIKE trailed by double digits at halftime as Martin Methodist rolled to a 73-47 win.
Feltner and Greatrex each had eight points apiece to lead the Bears.
UPIKE will return to action this coming weekend at the UPIKE Gymnasium in the Walters Auto Classic.
