Mingo Central amassed 544 yards, including 430 through the air, as the Miners pulled away from Chapmanville in the second half to score a 49-14 victory at Tiger Stadium on Friday night.
Quarterback Daylin Goad passed for three touchdowns and ran for three scores as Mingo Central moved to 7-2.
Record-setting wide receiver Drew Hatfield had 16 receptions for 216 yards and one touchdown. He is now first in receptions and yards for the regular season, with 107 catches and 1,598 yards. The old mark was 99 catches and 1,443 yards.
Devin Hatfield finished with 116 yards and two scores. Running back Tanner Cisco rushed for 80 yards and one touchdown on 10 carries.
Chapmanville quarterback Chase Berry passed for 161 yards and one touchdown and ran for 77 yards and another score as the Tigers dropped to 5-4.
The Miners will close out the regular season at Winfield on Nov. 8. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m.
