Mingo Central quarterback Daylin Goad passed for three touchdowns and ran for three others to help the Miners to a 52-7 victory over Scott at Skyhawk Field on Friday night.
Goad passed for 204 yards and ran for 89 as the Miners moved to 5-2.
Running back Garret Runyon had nine carries for 113 yards and a pair of touchdowns.
Receiver Drew Hatfield had 11 catches for 151 yards and three scores and moved into second place all-time among West Virginia receivers. He is less than 600 yards from becoming the state’s top receiver in reception yards.
The Miners will return to Buck Harless Stadium to face Herbert Hoover (3-4) on Oct. 25. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
