Shelby Valley quarterback Dalton Meade ran for a pair of touchdowns and returned an interception 52 yards for another score as the Wildcats defeated East Ridge, 50-14, at Teco Field on Friday night.
Meade carried six times for 112 yards and running back Jayden Newsome followed with 103 yards and one touchdown on four rushes as The Wildcats moved to 7-2 overall.
Running back Jordan Little had three carries for 42 yards and two touchdowns.
Jonathan Hopkins led the defensive charge with nine tackles while Brayden Keathley and Little followed with eight each.
Shelby Valley will close out regular-season play at home against Bath County on Oct. 25. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m.
