Johnson Central multi-sport athlete Ryley Preece has received his second Division I offer, this time from Marshall University for baseball. He had earlier received an offer from Morehead State University.
Preece, who is currently quarterback for the Golden Eagles football squad, has played for the past four seasons. He helped Johnson Central win back-to-back 15th Region baseball championships in 2016-17.
He was outstanding on the mound this past season, ending with a 1.29 ERA, with 56 strikeouts. He also had 56 hits, with 37 RBIs and batted .463.
