Prestonsburg boys’ and girls’ soccer teams captured 57th District tournament crowns on Thursday night at Eagle Field.
Grant Justice scored two goals and assisted on one other as the Blackcats blanked Johnson Central, 6-0. Preston Crase and Dylan Moore added one goal and one assist each as Prestonsburg improved to 16-2-2.
Matt Burchett had one goal and two assists while Isaiah Collins added one goal.
Goalkeeper Jacob Martin was should in recording the shutout.
Meanwhile, the Lady Blackcats escaped with a thrilling 2-0 win over Johnson Central as Elizabeth Burchett and Makayla Ousley had unassisted goals each in the win.
Goalkeeper Chelsea Samons recorded her second straight tournament shutout.
All four teams advance to the regional tournament next week.
