Martin County basketball standout Trey James has received his first Division I college basketball offer from Wake Forest University.
The announcement came today and is the first of what is expected to be a number of offers from across the country.
James played in 30 games one year ago, scoring at an average of 17.9 points per games for the Cardinals. He also averaged just shy of 11 rebounds as a sophomore.
The Martin County big man said he was blessed to receive the offer from the Demon Deacons, a member of the Atlantic Coast Conference.
